The Data Fiduciary of your information is Uddipta Tech Solutions, a Micro Enterprise registered with the Government of India (MSME), with its registered office at Jamtara, India.

We only collect information that falls into the following categories.

Information you provide

When you submit a waitlist form, contact request, or initiate a WhatsApp inquiry, we collect:

• Store Name and Owner / Contact Name
• Primary WhatsApp Phone Number (and optional secondary Email Address)
• City and State (Store Location)
• Store Type (Kirana, Supermarket, Hypermarket, Pharmacy, Apparel, Electronics, or Other)
• Approximate SKUs / Price Tags count (500 / 2,500 / 15,000+)
• Current Billing Software / POS (Tally, Zoho, Marg, Busy, Vyapar, None, or Other)
• Number of Outlets
• Communication & pilot participation consent

Information collected automatically

When you visit the website, our hosting provider may automatically log technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. We do not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Information from third parties

We do not currently obtain personal information about you from external data brokers or third parties.

If your store is accepted into the Quickshelf private beta, we will additionally collect the data needed to provide the software service. This typically includes:

• Account credentials (username, hashed password) for users you create.
• Operational data you enter into the platform: products, prices, inventory, sales, customer records, staff records, and similar.
• Usage telemetry — what features you use, errors encountered — so we can improve the product.

Your operational data belongs to you.We act as a Data Fiduciary and service provider for the data you put into the platform, and we won’t use it for our own purposes beyond running the service and improving the product. We will never share your customer or sales records with another beta participant or any third party.

If you choose to leave the beta, you can request a full export and deletion of your operational data — see "Your rights" below.

We use your information only for the following purposes:

• To respond to your message or waitlist sign-up.
• To contact you about Quickshelf’s early-access pilot, product updates, or launch — only if you signed up for the waitlist or initiated an inquiry.
• To prevent abuse and keep the website secure.
• To comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Under Section 5 of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we process your data based on your explicit consent, which you grant by submitting a web form or initiating a contact inquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).

We rely on a small number of trusted infrastructure providers to operate our platform and messaging services. They process your data on our behalf under strict technical and security obligations:

• Supabase— stores waitlist and contact form submissions in a secure cloud database.
• Vercel— hosts the web application and handles edge traffic and server logs.
• Meta / WhatsApp— provides the messaging delivery infrastructure when you choose to connect with us over WhatsApp.

We may also disclose information when legally required (court orders, lawful government requests) or to defend our legal rights.

The website does not currently set any cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser may receive technical cookies from our hosting provider for security purposes (e.g., bot mitigation). You can clear or block cookies via your browser settings without affecting the use of this site.

If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy and (where required) ask for your consent first.

We retain beta application and contact form data for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which it is deleted unless you have actively engaged with us or joined the beta.

For beta participants, we retain your operational data (products, prices, customers, sales records, and similar) for as long as your account is active and for up to 30 days after the account is closed, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Server logs are typically retained for up to 90 days.

Our cloud hosting, database, and messaging infrastructure providers maintain high-security server infrastructure in India and international cloud regions. All cross-border data routing adheres to applicable laws and standard technical data protection safeguards.

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Ask us to erase your data.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India (or your local DPA).

Email us at support@quickshelf.in with the subject line "Privacy request". We aim to respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

The website is intended for adult visitors (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will delete it.

We protect your data through reasonable technical measures, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all traffic to and from the site.
• Row-level security on our Supabase database that allows the public website to insertwaitlist data only — never read, update, or delete it.
• Per-email rate limiting to prevent abuse of forms.
• Limited internal access on a need-to-know basis.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the current version. For material changes we will, where practical, notify waitlist members by email.

In compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023 and IT Rules, the Grievance Officer for any complaints regarding your personal data is:
